Amanda is doing a FABULOUS job as Manager this month- thank you. She has been stepping in to be available to speak with parents, get you all ready for photo day, recital, and of course registration for next year! If everyone pre-registers before going away for the summer we can guarantee the same class for next year and same time frame. We have had MANY phone calls for new clients/ other dance students & we will be starting up new classes as well as offering the ones we offer now!!! We have at least 2 new teachers for next year (coming from our Newmarket Studio), and I am interviewing a 3rd!!! This IS a busy month!
Again, thank you to all those that come in and get the handouts & read the notice board- please sing up to be a parent volunteer if you are able to for recital. It could be simply showing people where to sit before finding your own seat if you are familiar with the Academy Theatre! It could be collecting ticket stubs. The Academy does not provide as many volunteers- and wouldn't it be nice to see a familiar CDA face! Backstage we need some MOMS- for the younger ones. Once they have danced they will be brought into the audience to watch the remainder of the 1st half- they can only sit with you if they have a purchased ticket in your row due to fire regulations- otherwise they will sit with the parent volunteers- only for a few routines until INTERMISSION- then they can go home- or again if you have purchased them a ticket- treat it like a NIGHT OUT WATCHING THE SHOW!! What better way for them to get excited about dance & see the older girls in the 2nd half! Trust me it is a fabulous show & gets everyone hopping!
Please mark down Photo day as we would like all of our students in the group shot, and only take the solo shot if you will be pre-purchasing a package that evening.
