How to become a member of the competitive team
Auditions and registration for next season's Competitive Team will be held June 7-11. Please call the studio for more details. Don't forget about our summer dance camps including an intensive two week camp for competitive students.
Parents please watch your e-mail or call your team rep. for information about your dancers year end Parents Meeting.
PICTURE DAY
June 17-18 Newmarket Studio, May 17, Lindsay Studio
Competition photographs will be taken at the studio during regular photo day. Please be prepared as competitive students usually have more costumes & changes then other students. Both a solo and a group photograph will be taken of each dancer in each particular number. We urge you to have your dancer attend. There is no obligation to anyone and there is no pressure to purchase these photos. However, it is nice to have everyone available for a group picture and it is for this reason that attendance is encouraged. As you know, many group photographs appear in the studio and it is unfortunate when someone is missing and that particular group photo is displayed.

CDA At Star Catchers Ajax 2010
The Competitive team was recently at Star Catchers in Ajax. For most it was the first outing of the 2010 competitive season. The CDA team won many awards and received valuable comments from the competition's adjudicators.
Newmarket Competitive Team Gala 2010
The Gala for the Newmarket competitive team was at Sir William Mulock High School this year. It was a great opportunity for dancers and parents to socialize and gave the team a chance to perform their competive numbers in costume and before a live audience. Thanks to the many parents and CDA staff who helped make the show a great success and thanks to the students who put on a fantastic show!

CDA Lindsay competitive team Banquet and Gala was held. It was a great success thanks to the many helpers and to the students who put on a great show!
Reminder, at competitions please make sure you arrive an HOUR & A HALF early so we can all practice as a group before you go on stage in full costume & hair & make-up!! Thanks.
